The OPR can be an interest that is overnight set by BNM. It’s a price a debtor bank needs to spend up to a bank that is leading the funds lent. IMPROVE: The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of Bank Negara Malaysia chose to reduce steadily the Overnight Policy Rate (OPR) to 2.75 per cent.
